The Sole F63 is about $1000, which makes it a higher end budget treadmill. It is a light to medium duty treadmill, great for walkers and joggers, but may not be heavy duty enough for runners. The motor is a 2.5 horsepower, which simply isn’t suited to the workout a runner gives a treadmill. Though Sole calls the motor on this treadmill “whisper quiet”, users report that the motor is actually a bit louder than many other treadmills. This could be a problem if you like to watch tv or listen to music as you use it.

For the money, however, the Sole F63 comes with quite a few important features. The running deck is 20×55, which makes it comfortable for most people. If you’re extremely tall, your stride might be a little long for it. There are six standard programs and two user defined programs. The speed goes up to a maximum of 10 miles per hour, and the incline adjusts from 0-15%, which makes it great for a serious lower body or cardiovascular walking workout.

The heart rate monitor on the Sole F63 is measured through handgrips or a chest belt, but there are no heart rate control programs like you might find on a higher end treadmill.

The LCD display shows you your time, speed, distance, incline level and calories burned. You can also see a quarter mile track display to help you keep track of your progress.
